Postcards, photographs and souvenirs sent, received or collected by residents from St.Helens. The material reflects many aspects of social history including life during the First and Second World Wars, naval experiences in the 1920s and holidays in the United Kingdom and Ireland during the early 20th century. The collection is also a useful source for local history as it includes many images of St.Helens during the 20th century.
