| AdminHistory | This project included an area of land known as Greenbank and set about reclaiming 48 acres of land and former industrial sites stretching from the centre of St.Helens. The first phase illustrated in SEV/18 aimed to handle over 4 million cubic metres of material. This included the treatment of large quantities of waste material and the extraction of coal from the old workings on the site and also the demolition of buildings.
Part of this site was later known as The Shires, which accommodated a development of two, three and four bedroomed domestic properties. |
