AdminHistoryEdmund Hill (1862-1938) lived in Thatto Heath, St.Helens and for many years was employed at United Glass Bottles (UGB), St.Helens. In his spare time he had a profound interest in Lancashire dialect, in which he composed poems, songs and monologues. Many of his works were performed at concerts in St.Helens, works social functions and radio broadcasts.
AcquisitionThis collection was donated by Edmund Hill's son, also called Edmund Hill.
