Notes | All the records were re-recorded onto cassette by the North West Sound Archive in 1993. Equalisition was used only where necessary to make the cassette copy intelligible. Conical truncated 0.0030 inch and 0.0032 inch styluses were used for 78 rpm shellac discs. A modern stereo stylus was used for 16 inch 33 1/3 rpm vinyl discs. The weight of the 16 inch discs caused the turntable to slow below 33 1/3 rpm. Therefore varispeed was used to correct the discrepancy.
Each cassette contains one record per side. All cassette recordings were made in Dolby B.
